"Technadeck"

Technadeck has been in the making for a number of years within a close group of friends who have found joy in creating new innovations out of modern day devices. The name Technadeck was first introduced when a new long board design was created in 2009. The name has many meanings.

Of its two base words "techna" and "deck", deck is by far the easiest to explain. It was simply in reference to the deck of the long board being made, but it also refers to the solid bond of friendship that it was created on.


Techna on the other hand has a more complex meaning. The suffix "techna" is often put in front of common words to emphasize their advance in technology to make their superiority obvious. This suffix often includes a dash, but not always. Such example include Techna-fit, Techna-Graphics, Technatool, Technaglass, etc. The list goes on including the name Technadeck. The second meaning is more subtle but simple none the less. It refers to the founder of the name who often goes by the name TechnoJoe. 


Technadeck's main purpose is to show the world that many things that are thrown away daily need not to be. Not only can they be fixed, they can be improved apon and made into something that is worth more than what it was at first. The goal of Technadeck is to inspire mankind to realize that the worthless can me made into the awesome.
